The initial situation

HTC Hellmayr e.U., a horse-keeping business based in Stadl-Paura, operates in the areas of horse boarding, horse training, equestrian education, riding lessons for children and courses. As the business grew significantly, the volume of horse manure produced also increased considerably.

As the business had no land of its own on which to spread the manure and only a small, existing manure heap was available, a new solution was needed for the ongoing disposal of manure.

The challenge

The aim was to find a clean and straightforward solution for disposing of horse manure without having to build a new manure storage area.

At the same time, the system had to be able to reliably handle the now significantly larger volume of manure and integrate easily into existing operational processes.

The solution

The BioCubePress from PÖTTINGER provided a compact solution that did not require the construction of a new manure storage facility.

HTC Hellmayr processes around 100 tonnes of horse manure per year. According to the customer, no special additional equipment was required for this.
