Since 2015, the Pöttinger MP 20-.19 baler has been in use at Wieser+Scherer Zeller Haustechnik GmbH for compacting cardboard packaging – with great success!

Thanks to the 1:5 compaction ratio, numerous transport journeys have been avoided. According to Mr Wieser, the investment paid for itself within 36 months. There is no longer any material lying around, and the technicians can dispose of the waste by type. This means lower transport costs, lower CO₂ emissions and savings on staff costs!

In view of rising volumes and costs for commercial waste collection, Wieser+Scherer decided to compact this waste stream as well. Satisfied with our product and service, they once again chose Pöttinger – this time the MP 10-1.0-2.0 press container for dry commercial waste.

This was commissioned in July and is already helping to further improve efficiency.
